Hi,
I'd like to own an old tube-based home video camera. But most of them are separate cameras that dock to a separate (betamax or vhs or umatic) VCR. What I want is an all in one camcorder, ideally VHS. And I want it PAL, not NTSC.
The only one I can readily find online to buy are Panasonic Omnimovie camcorders (the earlier models are Newvicon tube cameras, the later ones CCD based.)
Problem is I can't find out whether there are any PAL versions of these cameras, and if so, what they're called.
If anyone knows what brands/model camcorders fit this bill: PAL tube VHS Camcorders, ideally Panasonic - I'd be so grateful.
Even better if you have a working one you want to sell me!
Thanks, best wishes

Can you tell us why you want an old tube camera? To get any picture quality you need 3 vidicon or plumbicon tubes. Striped single vidicons were very low quality.
