    Is there a way i can capture or download videos from youtube and save them as mpeg? or avi?

    Use Replay AV8 or use WM Recorder to capture the vids on YOUTUBE..
    You will need a player that will play .fla or use a converter that converts .fla to whatever you want.. A program to do this is Total Video Converter..

    Problem with youtube is that they use too much compression. In a pinch, I used Super to convert a .flv but it still looked pretty fonky.
    I can only imagine what youtube would do to an already downconverted HD clip...
