  1. Hello all

I have a problem i hope some one can help me with, I have an lg 60pz570t 3d tv which plays hd mkvs, now all mkvs i have tried work except 2 which both have a resolution of 2560x544, i have tried all kinds of different programs to get them working including mkv2vob which only results in black screen playing audio, would anyone know if the problem is the resolution? and f so what would be the best program to lower the resolution?

    thanks.

Just create a new MKV from your original DVD or BluRay.....simple.

  4. I'm guessing that the file is a 3D SBS (side-by-side), going by the resolution and the fact that your TV is 3D.

If so, it ain't happening. Such files (double horizontal resolution) won't play on my LG 65LW6500. I tested it, (and top/bottom as well), and I'd be surprised if yours does. And of course the file may be buggered anyway. Yeah, make a new one.

Good luck and welcome to the forum.

  6. When you make a new one, don't exceed allowable resolution, 1920x1080. With a split-screen 3D file, that's effectively half resolution, but there's no help for it. I can confirm TB (top/bottom) 3D MKVs will play directly from external hard drive on my LG set. These are 1080i captures from cable 3D TV, BTW. They still look pretty darn good.

[EDIT] By any chance, did you do the first one with DVDFab?
