I thought it might me the Bits Rates where too high, but the MTS file plays which is the same, i've update my Blu-rayers firmware still no luck, reason for MKV... the M2TS file can not be fast forward from the remote, i have to go into the menu system, and there is no ELAPSED/TIME-REMAING for MTS, its blank (something i noticed on VLC).
MKV files can be fast forwarded from remote and do display a ELAPSED/TIME-REMAING
Hope people can help

Turn of header stripping/compression in mkvmergegui, File->Options and select "disable header removal compression for audio and video tracks" and then make a new mkv.

Thank you very much Sir
That did the trick, plays perfectley is there any advantages/disadvantages of header stripping/compression, i mean will my MKV file now uncomapitable with something else, just out of curiosity
Thank you again -
Header stripping only works on PCs for playback. It should always be avoided. It's completely unnecessary. It saves you a tiny amount of space and makes your MKV files unplayable on anything but a PC. It's kind of like buying a brand new HDTV and getting all excited because you found a store that charges 1 pound less to buy it at. Wow. What a savings. Not.
