  1. i accidentally inserted a bu ray disc with data on it into my AVLOGIC VO-225BDV. Now when i plug it in the tray opens. it will not play anything. its like the firmware got messed up. it thier any way around this. any help appreciated thanks

  2. Unplug it for a minute and then plug it back in and hope it works?

  3. tried that and tried doing it long and short. even put the blu ray back in. no luck. let it sit uplugged for 24hrs also. anything else? a friend of my said he had one do the same thing, never figured it out. is thier a way to unplug the firmware and replug it for default. thanks for the fast relply manono. seeya

    Nope. You fried it by giving it a disc that it didn't understand (but it tried to - over and over again?!). Now, better firmware should have given up after a reasonable amount of attempts. Oh well.

    If it's still under warranty, I suggest you get it replaced. You'll have to do that, even if it isn't under warranty...

  5. sorry about how it sounded but when it went in and out to read it. it only happened maybe 2 or 3 times. thanks for the info guys, it was only $30 but it worked pretty good lots of bells and whislte with it. seeya
