    Hi everyone!

after 5 days searching I am totally desperate looking for a program that give me the chance to:

Convert audio without loosing video quality.

The program has to run on MAC (OSx)

The most useful I have found so far is D-Vision 3, but the limitation of this program is that it doesnīt convert MP4 and MKV files...
I have found other program MACX Video Converter, which looks like does what I want, but in the final video there is reasonable loose of quality...

So... Do you know any program that I could use??

    OSX Based
Able to transform any audio to MP3
    Without affecting video quality
    and fast

    Thank you so much!!!

PD, all this problem comes from my Picopix 2480 doesnt reads other audio than Mp3 and Wav

ffmpeg or ffmpegX (the latter if you want a GUI front end).

P.S. In the future ANYTHING you post that is Mac specific needs to be posted in our Mac forum. Posts in the Mac forum show up on the main page with a special symbol marking it as a Mac forum post and we have members who specifically look for that symbol on new posts to see if someone needs Mac help. You post in another forum then there's no special Mac symbol and most of us can't offer much in the way of Mac specific help. Your post happened to be something I could answer.

have you tried normal h264/mp4 with aac audio? it claims to support the spec which includes aac. it also says mkv is ok so most likely it plays ac3 also. it's only separate audio only files that it needs mp3 or wav. i'd just make sure not to try dts in video files.

    He is talking about picopix.

I'm not very impressed with your lack of understanding so rather than insult you, I'm going to leave this thread. However, I will give you a final hint. I mentioned TWO programs you could try. If you don't have the skills necessary to install and use programs on a Mac then maybe you need to ask a friend with Mac skills to help you.
