I just set up my Azden WMS-Pro wireless microphone. I have two video cameras Canon VIXIA M41 and a kodak play touch.
I just did test videos. My voice is hardly audible when I use this system. I hear my voice faintly with the ear bud when recording. I am only 5-10 feet away from the camera so distance is not the issue. When uploaded onto my computer there is hardly any voice.
I have checked my volume controls on cameras and computers& I am using premier elements for editing.
Any ideas? Do you think I have a bad microphone? This unit runs on 9V batteries could they be low even though they are new?
thanks in advance for any comments.

It's possible the batteries are the problem but I think it's an impedance issue, your cameras might require lower impedance mics.

Check the receiver or camera to see if it has an impedance selector.Last edited by MOVIEGEEK; 22nd Mar 2012 at 18:59.

Thank you for your reply,
the microphone has and impedance of 300 ohm, from your link that is low and should be good.
I can't find any impedance information on the cameras.
I will get new batteries in the morning and see what happens.
Weird that the volume is almost nothing with both cameras. that makes me think it is the microphone system.
