o.k. now that i have vented, i think i found the right forum.

i am a computer newbie running a mac os 10 with a build in cd burner.

i am using i-movie and importing .jpg pics to use as a family photo album

which can be used on my dvd player.

my problem is, the movie comes out as a .mov file and when i burned it

on to disc, and put it in my dvd player, it said, "disk error" and spit out

the disk...my dvd player is both cd/rw and vcd compatible and if anyone

can help, i would be most grateful...thanks in advance.

    Bill :(

  2. I dunno much either but seing no one in here reply i decided to give this a shot, i think you have to convert it to mpeg1 or mpeg2 first then burn it on a disc using vcd burning program (ex. - Nero, Nti, etc...), and if u want to know u should look around in this site.

The best program to burn vcds on a Mac is toast. Once you have the .mov file all you have to do is select Video CD and drag the .mov file to it. Then burn and enjoy.
