  1. Hi everyone!

This is my first post here. I have a wmv. video file which lasts about 2 minutes. I made a subtitle file (str.) using DotSub so that I can include subtitles on youtube. It works just fine, but i was wondering if it's possible to merge the subtitle file with the video file and then upload the new video that will include the subtitles on youtube again. I don't think the 'cc' function on youtube is very visible.

But is it possible to do something like that?

Thank you very much for your help.

Yes, you can burn in subtitles in the video. I would try convert the dotsub str/srt to standard srt subtitles first. Maybe http://www.gorissen.info/Pierre/files/SRT_repair.htm.

Then you can you use avidemux, see http://www.my-guides.net/en/content/view/105/26/ you can skip the jubler part.

Or the easier freemake video converter, see https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/331848-How-to-easily-convert-everything-to-anything...d-in-subtitles.

Save as a mp4 or avi and upload to youtube.
