Hi,
I am curious on how to rip an SVCD so I can create another SVCD with enhanced menus etc.
I tried simply copying the MPEG file from the SVCD but when I go to make a new one my programs tell me that the file is not MPEG2 format.
Thanks for any help.

The file on the CD has the extension .mpg but it has additional baggage similar to .dat files on VCDs
The .dat to .mpg function in VCDGear can convert SVCD mpg to regular mpg.
Enjoy,
