    Hello,

    Please bare with me as I ask these noob questions about Notebook / Laptop Informations. I have a motherboard for a dell inspiron e1705, But The Case(Top part where we can type and use the mouse) and bottom case(Where the memory, hard drives, motherboard goes in.) I have not found one, Because I don't know the name of this type of item. If anyone could help me find this. Would be great.

    unlike tower cases laptops are not standardized. your best bet would be to buy a used e1705 on ebay or similar that has a dead m.b.
