    I used Express Burn to burn a DVD and although it seemed to burn Ok when I try to play a chapter it starts playing and stops after about 1 second?

    "The free version does not expire but will only burn normal CDs". Do you have the free version?

    ImgBurn is the preferred DVD burning program, it will verify the burn, and it is free. The next possible point to cause failure is to use inferior media. Verbatim is considered preferred media by many around here.
    Please explain the procedure used and the media being used. Then possible help can be achieved.

    I burn everything except music CDs with imgburn.
