  1. Help!
There was something wrong about my previous system (XP pro) so i formated disk and installed it again. But now my CCE 2.50 is so slow I can't do anything with it. It takes about 11 hours to encode a 50 minute source. It took him about 3 before (same source). I am using the same settings as before (incLuding the settings of the whole OS). Everything else works fine. Except CCE. Anyone had the same problem? My machine is 1.3 GHz P4, 256 Mb RDRam, 40 Gb HDD, XP pro, NTFS, and it takes 11 hours to convert!

  2. Me again. Now this is a total mistery to me.
I forgot to mention that i use VirtualDub frameserve to convert (subtitles and resizing). Now if I encode directly to CCE it works great. If use VD frameserve with Nearest neighbour resize it also works great (speed indicator at CCE shows about 1.6-1.7). But if i use A=1.00 filter for resizing CCE slows down a lot. Almost 10 times that is it almost stops! Speed indicator shows about 0.2-0.3. It didn't slow down that much on my previous installationc.

I had the same problem so I formated and switched xp for win2000.
Cause xp eats up my memory, 256mb ddr, AMD 1,4ghz.

Don't you get a lot messages that virtual memory is low, winxp is increasing the pagefile? And then everything acts 20 times slower.

    Check taskmanager.

  4. something else..how come CCE won't accept my Virtualdubbed frameserved file? it simply says: this is not an avi file or something like that...whyy????
btw, i AM using 2.50, so the Virtualdub frameserving should work

  5. I know that there is a problem with CCE 2.62 but not with 2.50. Concernig frameserving. I would also like to know is there a way to make frameserving from VD to CCE 2.62 possible.
Thanks Bozo, but the problem is that i don't receive those messages. Everything else works great (TMPGEnc for example). Even CCE works great if I dont use that filter. As soon as i use it, CCE almost stops. But it didn't before. So, one solution is don't use the filter, but it still is a mistery. Thanks!

Frameserving with VirtualDub to cce sp 2.6x work via VFAPIconvert only.
