I authored an AVCHD disc using MultiAVCHD consisting of 2 .mkv files. The video plays perfectly but there is no sound what so ever. The audio plays fine on my computer, but not on my Blu-ray player (PS3). I am wondering if maybe I needed to check a box in MultiAVCHD or something. To further illustrate my newb-ness, I then ran both files through tsMuxer just to see if that would do anything, and the muxed files now have no sound even when played back on my computer.
I believe the audio is 2 channel. In tsMuxer, it says AC3 384 Kbps 48 KHz. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Check them with MediaInfo to be sure what audio format they are in and their specifications. Not that familiar with PS3, but you should be able to compare the files with ones that do work. I suspect maybe the wrong audio format for a PS3?
But one of our PS3 users here might be able to give better assistance. -
The audio will play in a ps3 as long as it has no internal errors.

It turns out that one of the two files does play the audio fine (and shows it as being 2 channel AC3). The problem is the other file, which has no sound, but upon hitting display shows 5.1 Dolby Digital AC3-even though I believe the sound to actually be 2 channel. I don't believe there is an issue with the source file itself, since it plays back perfectly on my computer (not from the created disc, but the file itself).
