    Hi
I have a PAL DV camera and I would like to burn an SVCD disk but with the NTSC format (for viewing in the US). How can you do it? I have VS6 and MoovieFactory.
    Thanks
    Stelios

I'm not familiar with Movie Factory per se, but I can tell you that making a standard, ISO compliant NTSC SVCD will require the following settings:

    *480x480 resolution
*2520kbps max (for standard SVCD, anything above spec may not be compatible w/ certain players)
    *mpeg-2 video
*224kbps mpeg-1 layer 2 audio, 44.1Khz sampling rate (seems to be most compatible)
    *29.97fps

Alternately, you could download TMPGenc from this site and use the standard NTSC SVCD template that is provided with that program. Otherwise, try those settings in Movie Maker, and if you have any further questions about SVCD or the standards for PAL or NTSC, look at the SVCD guide under the "what is" section.
