  1. I know AVI is the biggest. And obviously takes up to much space. Im burning the Video to DVD after and I now have solved my stuttering poroblem but have a pixelation problem. Or basically just a quality problem.

    So whats 2nd to AVI?

    AVI is just a container. An avi could contain everything from uncompressed video(really really really big) to h264/avc that is much better for smaller file size but still very good quality.

    H264/avc video is probably the best for computer playback right now and more and more standalone devices supports it. It's best to put h264 in a mp4 or mkv container rather than the avi container.

  3. Im not that familiar with h264, Im using Sony Vegas. Importing from the camera to AVI then render4ing to MPG2 program stream NTSC widescreen. And I know your all gonna laugh at me. But Im using windows DVD to burn it to DVD cuz my DVD architect isnt workin right.
