I know AVI is the biggest. And obviously takes up to much space. Im burning the Video to DVD after and I now have solved my stuttering poroblem but have a pixelation problem. Or basically just a quality problem.
So whats 2nd to AVI?

AVI is just a container. An avi could contain everything from uncompressed video(really really really big) to h264/avc that is much better for smaller file size but still very good quality.
H264/avc video is probably the best for computer playback right now and more and more standalone devices supports it. It's best to put h264 in a mp4 or mkv container rather than the avi container.
