I wrote a small tutorial to help out people on USENet and #survivor-central on IRC -- the tutorial explains the best way to convert the international captures of Survivor (OZ and UK) to _decent_ watchable VCD.
These AVI's are usually 320x240 25fps and don't take well to being converted to standard PAL or NTSC resolution - after a bit of trial and error I figured out the best way to 'letterbox' convert these files.
