Recently i was thinking about modding the chassis, building one from a to z for a timeless vcr (so to speak). Just wondering if anyone has tried before. I mean look at the htpc chassis they're beautiful in aluminum (Lian-Li)

I would perhaps add to it an hdmi output as seen in this thread, not there yet.

Building the chassis don't seem hard in my eyes, the only big difficulty i foresee is the front panel, what you think ?
