A Panasonic video camera makes an AVCHD video format but Cannon does .MOV format. I would like to convert an AVCHD video file into the .MOV format so that it can be played in the Cannon camera. Can you recommend a good free converting tool? Thank you.

Does export to Quicktime (mov). Don't know if it will read your input.

Hi! I am not talking about reading or play .MOV but AVCHD file and then convert it into the .MOV. That is AVCHD à .MOV but NOT .MOV àAVCHD. Can you recommend a good free tool to do that? Thanks.

@coody, you're getting ahead of yourself.

pcspeak mentioned MPEGStreamclip because it accepts TS files (the kind you would find in an AVCHD) as input, and MOV as output...
