splitting mpg when muxed

hi
i`m trying to figure out a way to overlap on the split when bbmpeg muxes the encoded video and audio.I`m using the xmpeg-videoserver-cce method.
I`ve noticed in dvd2svcd there is an option to do this with bbmpeg so it must be possible somehow.
I`ve been scratching my head for 2 days with this.
Any help would be much appreciated

tmpgenc has a mpeg tools section where u can split your mpgs
