Hello
I have a Pinnacle PCTV nanostick and have broken the aerial adapter. A replacement part is available from their website but it costs £8 http://webshop.pctvsystems.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl...emid=1&lang=en
I have sourced a much cheaper one from ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/IEC-DVB-T-TV-PAL-female-jack-MCX-male-plug-adapter-/32072018...item4aac69b552 but am unsure if it would work.
I have googled but can't see the significance of what the 5.5 stands for in the description. Would the ebay example work in the nanostick considering that the MCX end is slightly different to the Pinnacle product?
Many thanks

I would suspect the 5.5 is the inner diameter of the connector, 5.5mm. I believe that's about the size of a regular SMA connector. Take a look at this page and you should be able to check the specifications for the different connectors, SMA, MCX: http://www.amphenolrf.com/products/bnc.asp?N=0&sid=4E6D4B801D61617F&

Thanks for the reply. After reading the required page and being even more baffled I still don't know if I should buy the ebay item. Anyone offer assistance please?
