Is there any freeware that will convert BR to MKV at full bitrate like MakeMKV?

MakeMKV is in the Beta stage and is still free.

Not really, the evaluation period ends and you can't use it unless you buy. I tried the latest version and it won't work.

Go to their site and check. As far as I knew all you had to do was re-insert the new months codes. There is discussion there that sometimes problems occur with the process. The forum there will indicate if the Beta stage is over.

This is statement is completely inaccurate.

At present MakeMKV is in beta and as such you can visit the forums to obtain a registration code that will allow continued use of the product at no cost. At some point this will be discontinued but the author has been doing this for a long time now. The DVD ripping capabilities will remain free forever, however.

With respect to any other product doing what MakeMKV does for free? I'm unaware of any product that will remove Blu-ray protections and convert to MKV for free. Your best bet would be to look for a program that can convert to MKV but use something like AnyDVD HD to remove the protections.

Thankyou,I checked the MakeMKV forum and there is a code you can enter to extend the evaluation period. Without this step the program does expire.
