Hi folks
I'm trying to use VideoReDo and AGK to edit and convert mpeg2 recordings of TV - which I've done with no problems in the past, but on another computer. I bought a Dell Optiplex a few months ago with a fresh install of XP SP3. It plays all video files without problems, but trying to save projects or export video in VideoReDo causes the program to freeze and the hard disk go mad, and I have to force it to quit (which takes several minutes). Importing video into AGK does the exact same thing, even though it's a completely different program. What do you think might be causing this? Why do all the editing progs have the same trouble with mpeg2 files? I've tried different codecs, which all allow me to play the files okay but not edit them
