    I have a Sony dvd recorder (model RDR-GX300). I keep getting "the disc is unrecordable" or "cannot plat this disc" messages. I use Sony dvd-r or Memorex dvd-r discs and never had a problem. Normally the disc is formatted but that is not happening. I just recorded from this player a couple of days ago with no issue. How,if possible, can you clean the lense? Could that be the problem?
