Hi Guys,
First off, i have looked for hours for the solution to this problem and have had no luck. Please accept my appologies if the same question/solution crops up all the time, but i am indeed a newb in these areas!!
I am currently playing WoW at 1680x1050 resolution this is my native monitor resolution
I am recording my game play with Fraps. Full size, 30FPS
I am using Sony Vegas Pro 10 and the closest i have had to a 'watchable' video was in template - 4K 16:9 24p 4096x2304
I realise from the great numbers of tutorials i have have watched that for youtube my W&H need to be 1920 & 1072 but always get a scrambled video when i input these figures in Vegas.
If your reading this and understand where im going wrong then please help.
Cheers guys

Or alternately, change your resolution to something that is more "video friendly", like 1920x1080 or 1280x720, re-record your FRAPS play, then use a standard 1080p30 or 720p30 template in Vegas (matching the resolution & framerate). These would also likely distribute better on Youtube, etc.
Of course, if you've already recorded all the FRAPS play you wanted and can't recreate it, nevermind.
