I am currently using my Hauppauge HD PVR to record my ps3 game play in M2TS format. I also use Freemake Video Converter to convert over to an avi format. The first time I used Freemake it allowed me to clip out portions of the video no problem but lately it has been freezing up on me and not wanting to clip out the unwanted portions. Any suggestions.

I would edit the clip outside of Freemake Video Converter, once i have completed my edits i would then import the edited stream.
Any of the tools on this page should be able to cut mpeg video. For free tools use project X, but for payware i use videoRedo.

Doh, Dismiss my comment I missed that you were using Hauppauge HD PVR. To my knowledge ProgectX only works on Mpeg streams. Posindeathray is correct.
