    My laptop has a HDMI connector, my TV and DVD Recorder both have HDMI connectors. When I connect my laptop to my TV using a HDMI cable I can watch the programme I am streaming from my laptop on my TV but I can't seem do this when I use my cable from my laptop to my DVD recorder. Can anyone help?

    What cable? What DVD recorder? What are you playing?
