Pioneer DV-340 | SVCD | Other play for £150 max

I am looking for a DVD player to play DVD/VCD/SVCD not really bothered about mp3

Am looking at this one

Richer sounds are doing it for £160 with delivery, just have a few questions

1/Ive checked the feedback and people have said it does play SVCD, so im assuming this will be fine, I checked here

2/If anyone knows of any problems, or any other decent players could they please post them possibly with a url and price. I dont really want a 'harry big button player' i.e looks crap and by some cheap and nasty company :)

I had one of these and took it back as it hasn't got RGB output. I'm getting a Pioneer 44 instead- supposedly much better for about 30 quid extra.

just got mine today. very nice player. region hack does not work though. got mine from http://www.empiredirect.co.uk for £124.67 inc. VAT + postage.
