    Hello
I need to create very long motion menu, e.g. 3600 sec.
How many seconds can it take?
    What is the limitation?

Time in motion menu is secondary. The menu (all together, if more than one) can only be 1GB size in one VTS so you have to figure out a bit rate to fit.
For one hour it will be really low with bad picture.

It does not matter where you do it.
Render Menu is meant to include buttons in motion menu, otherwise they will not show on compiled DVD.
If you try to render 3600 sec, with 8000kbs/s default, it is too much. You can set bit rate in there, but you have to know what it is.
Using bit rate calculator, it should be in range of 500-600kbs/s, less with linear PCM audio.

Will there be buttons on the menu?

You could try using a Title, and adding ButtonsOverVideo (BOV)

Have you ever seen the DVD of The Matrix. It has a feature called Follow The White Rabbit. At different point in the movie a white rabbit appears on the screen. If, during these times, you press Enter on your remote, you branch off, watch some behind the scenes footage about the scene, then return to the movie. The rabbit is done using BOV.

I can't, for the life of me, figure out what you're going to do with a motion menu that's an hour long.

I have to create (author) DVD9 but I have only 3,3GB movie size (3x25min) - don't ask me why DVD9
I have to increase size of VOB material. I've inventioned MotionMenu (1GB) or additional movie with BOV.

I tested BOV, and everything is OK but during plaing movie, if I increase speed e.g. 2x then "Play movie" - my button disappear.

Which is why you cannot fast forward a menu. Same with subtitles - hey also disappear if you use fast forward/reverse. The subpictures can only be displayed at normal speed.

    A p0rn slideshow-video would be an option much-more usefull/interesting IMHO.

You could also have several linked menus that just automatically move to the next one when they reach the end.

But you still can't fast forward through them.
