Hello everyone.

I am, what you term, a 'newbie.'

I would like to rip a dvd. I have nero 5.5.

I have looked, with bewilderment, at the riping and burning guides on this site. They are most helpful.

Ok. Questions.

Can I rip a dvd with Nero 5.5? If not, can anyone point me in the direction of software that I can download to rip a dvd title.

There you will find links to the needed tools too. You need a bunch of tools and you have to read a lot. Easiest (not the best) way might be DVDx or FlaskMPEG.
