  1. TEMPGEnc couldn't read the sound from the .avi so i pulled it out and made a .wav. The sound on the .wav is fine. When i use TMPGEnc to ecode the .avi and .wav to a VCD mpeg i get pops and ticks in the sound track. Anybody know why?

    Thanks

i understand this to be a problem with tmpgenc for some people. the fix is to use a quality encoder for the audio track, like "toolame", then multiplex it with the video.
