Hi all,
First of all I hope that this is the correct place to post my questions. If not let me apologize in advance. I'm new at this game and I'm trying to find the right equipment to convert my video library to DVD-R. At the moment I have only a GeForce 2 Ti card with video-in. I don't think it'll be enough to get the results I want.
I'm looking at a couple of different hardware options. I'm thinking of either the Dazzle Hollywood DV-Bridge or the new Pinnacle Studio Deluxe. I saw that the DV-Bridge had some nice comments from users on this site. However I like the fact that the Pinnacle package comes with DVD authoring software and the Firewire card for about the same price. It also appears that I could output to the VCR with the Pinnacle but not the Dazzle. Any thoughts on either of these would be great.
For the DVD burner I'm thinking of the Pioneer DVR-A03 (or the A04 once its out). I saw that it also had some nice write-ups here.
My system = Athlon 1600xp, 384MB DDR-RAM, 40GB 7200RPM IDE HD, Windows ME.
Any input would be greatly appreciated!![]()
Thanks in advance!
