First of all, this forum is amazing. I always end up here whenever I have a question about video and always get some use of this website!
Now I have a question that nobody seems to be able to answer..
I'm watching Fringe episodes I've gotten from here:
They are all encoded in 6 channel AC3 audio. I don't have 6 speakers or surround sound capability on my computer. What this means is that the background music comes out of the left side and all the dialog from the right side. Shouldn't the media player just downsample to 2 channels? I confirmed that this is happening in the same way on any media player and even my TV. I don't want to have to demux and remux each episode, but is there a way to do it in the settings in Media Player Classic? Right now I'm working around this by watching it in Mono, but I'd like to be able to hear stereo..
