I bought the Dazzle Hollywood DV Bridge & PYRO firewire card. I use both on Windows XP (NTFS). Anyhow I use Adobe Premier 6.0 to capture using the MainActor DV Codec. I can capture anything, cabletv, camcorder, dss, etc.... I capture, edit and convert to SVCD using Cinema Craft Encoder 2.5... I am using a APEX AD-1500 dvd player to play them. I must say all of these pieces work extremely well and I think the quality is awesome. For those of you who dont want to burn their final captured video to a svcd, Adobe Premier can control your Dazzle to play your video back out to your tv or vcr... In my opinion this must be the clearest way to view your captured video. Just my thoughts/opinions.

How well does it handle very light images. Think of the scene in Lawrence of Arabia that has Peter O'Toole ina white robe walking over sand dunes during an attack on a train. Does it get all washed out?
How about extremes of red and blue?
