I take it you're running under German localization?

The 'UNREC_KEY' means your source file is 'Unrecognized'. I don't know why that didn't get a good translation. "Video: no video" and "Audio: no audio" is likely normal for unrecognized files, as the application didn't find a video stream or an audio stream in the source file. It has to recognize the file first, in order to find video streams and audio streams.

It is odd that ffmpegX doesn't recognize an AVI file, as it has so far recognized every AVI file on my system (but my AVI files are normally very much alike: XviD/mp3 or XviD/AC3).

Please confirm that you only dropped an .AVI file onto the "Quelldatei" field, and not other types of files (e.g. not subtitles -- they need to be added elsewhere).

Also, please post the file details of you source file, as reported by MediaInfo Mac (download 0.7.7.58 for 10.4.11) or VideoSpec (download v0.8.2 for 10.4.11). Also VLC (0.9.10)'s Media Information panel (Codec details) can provide some information. I would like to see what the video codec and audio codec in your AVI file are. Perhaps these tools can provide the information better.
