  1. l know there is overscan problem on component cable, is the same occur to hdmi too? is there any function of ps3 to just scan or disable the overscan by itself, if l connect it to a pc mon via hdmi? if not any other solution?

    Jagabo is correct. In my experience most TVs do not allow you to adjust the overscan setting so it just becomes something you have to live with. The reason it exists is that there is often garbage at the very outer boundaries of video signals (mostly this happens on TV signals) and if the manufacturers didn't prevent consumers from seeing it, they would be absolutely swamped with angry calls and emails from customers wanting to know why their TVs were "broken". Granted that doesn't explain why almost no TV sold allows you to manually remove it if you wish, but that is why overscan is used in the first place.
