Pinnacle 12: Project disappeared

I hope someone can help me urgently.


I nearly finished a slideshow with video clips, music, etc for my brother in laws 60th birthday. I then had to leave for Nigeria. My daughter added a bit and wanted to write it on a disc. There was a problem and trying to save it as a file, did something wrong. If she opens the name of the project, it is blank. So, it seems as if the project is gone. Is there any way to recover it? I tried to advise her over the phone, but she cannot open the original. If she goes to file-open project, then she find my movie (this one only has the original photos when I started) and Hardy's 60th- this is the one, but is blank.



I have Pinnacle 12 and Windows 7. Where else can she look?

you could search the drives for it. open explorer(click open a folder). click on computer in the left column. then in the upper right of the window should be a search box. type in the file name and let it search.
