  1. Hello everyone,

I have a little problem with my AutoMKV software.
I use AutoMkv to convert my capture HD files into MKV.264 (being doing so for at least a year and a half)
I've been on XP and since August i've been on Windows 7 RC 7200. Since most of u know the limit for the free RC is coming up within 8 days... so i've decided to purchase full copy of windows 7 Home Prem. (please note this is all in x86 32bit environment)

I've used AutoMkv with the W7 RC this week without a problem. Here's the issue in W7 H.P.... It seems virtualdubmod doesn't work or stalls the operation some how...
I kept the exact same AutoMkv folder with the same templates. Now as soon as I launch the encoding, using lame, neroAAC, AAC for audio the DGI index goes as before and then on the status bar I see the encoding audio message ...wait....WAIT but no action follows as it used to... In order to continue I have to manually shut down the virtualdubmod process in the windows task manager and then the video process goes as it should with the result of a MKV file without Audio....

Ive done all kinds of different combination without any success... The only thing that seem to work was when I selected the "Copy original" option in the audio track section (which is pretty useless after all).
I thought maybe Avisynth had an issue tried 2.5.6, 2.5.7, 2.5.8 with all same result....

Is there a known issue with Win7 Home Premium ? or is it something I'm doing wrong here ? Any guidance, help would be extremely appreciated

Thank You very much for your time and effort

    Joeward
