    Hi,

I used Flv-extract to demux an flv file and got a MPEG Audio file and an avi VP6 back says media-info. Would like to mux audio and video into an avi to play on the dvd-player. What software should I use for this?

    thx

Virtualdub would be my choice. You don't need to use FLVextract if you use the FLV plugin. I would use fcchandler's version of the FLV plugin since it supports 264/aac in FLV also. You can't just mux the files into an AVI container (well, you can but they won't play in your DVD player. I assume it plays DivX/XviD), you need to convert the video with the XviD or DivX codec and direct stream copy the MP3 audio.

Convert it directly to divx/xvid with winff, xmedia recode or https://www.videohelp.com/tools/sections/all-in-one-video-converters . Most supports flv.

Thx u your advice is much appreciated. I used the winff tool (highest ranked) and got a decent result. The dvd-player plays divx. I am not on the same pc now but I believe that for the virtualdub I had to install much more stuff.

Now the thing is that I downloaded several Utubes making up one single animation. I like to put them back together. I suppose virtualdub is the one to use cause it has editing possibilties. Or has anybody got other suggestions?

    regards

For VirtualDub you just need ffdshow-tryout to decode VP6 video and Xvid to encode.

ffdshow-tryout should already be on your pc, if you want to do anything.
