xbox 360 4gb with kinect graphics

hi, i recently buy Xbox 360 with kinect. But its have some graphic problems. Know i will send it Microsoft service station but i have one confusion is that my Xbox 360 play burn movies DVD-r and DVD+r and i not funded any written who describe that Console can play writes disc movies and avi format and game.

i am afraid that console may be already mod or other problem like region code cause if it is have so company not given warranty on it.
