  1. I have a .mkv bluray rip and wanted to watch the video on my xbox so I extracted the h.264 video and the .dts audio files from the .mkv container. Then I used foobar to re encode the audio. Then I used YAMB to mux the files back together into an .mp4 container. The video plays fine and for the first 8:51, audio/video sync is spot on. Then out of nowhere the audio falls behind by 10 seconds or more. I'm curious if there is a way that I can fix the sync issues since they begin after the start of the video. Any help is much appreciated.

The original is fine, I watched it on my computer from start to finish and there were no issues. I think maybe the problem maybe that I had to downgrade the 6channel .dts to stereo and that significantly changed the audio file size?. Is there a way to fix sync issues after the movie starts?

No dice it just sits at "initializing" when I start the queued task.

try the other - https://www.videohelp.com/tools/mkv_avi_to_mp4 - if it hangs also most likely you have a bad video source file.
