I hope my query does fits on the requirements of this thread.

I having some problem to access my usual USB (Flash memory stick), from last 2 years i am using it, it has some valuable data
    in it.

Since two days I am trying to access it with some recovery software, like Pen drive data recovery, but the software also did not recognize the USB, neither I notice the flash light of the USB flickering (before it does). Software did recognize C and D partitions.

I really don't care of USB of 9 Euros, but I only like to retrieve the data, it has some of my children is first pictures when they were born. And I am desperate to have them.

    Any suggestions, please??

    Thanks in advance.

Format your PEN with FAST FORMAT and use Runtime GetDataBack FAT to recovery all files. Working ever for me.

I would do this only as a last resort. Try all non-destructible methods first.

You can use the format utility that comes with Windows. There are other free options as well. For example SwissKnife. GetDataBack is not free, it's a commercial product.

test the usb port an make sure it works for other devices. then plug it in and see if the stick is listed in control panel/administrative tools/computer management/storage/disc management.

if not nothing will ever find it, it's just dead.
