I've been working with Megui to re encode my video files . I want to increase the resolution of a video to 720x304 from 640x272.
But Megui seems to lock me on the same Resolution without allowing to increase it.

This option is only available when i make the AVS Script using the Script Creator.
Any help to increase the resolution

Yeah, forget that. I gave up doing it with the MeGUI interface, and its assumptions, long ago.

Just save the script (.avs file) with MeGUI, then open it in NotePad and enter the resolution manually yourself. Save it again (in NotePad), then load that into MeGUI and it will work fine with your preferred resolution.
I hate VHS. I always did.

  3. upscaling usually isn't a good idea - you just waste bitrate (you need a bigger filesize and get worse quality)

you can manually edit the script, in the 3rd tab. Add a line

    LanczosResize(720,304)
