I have a mkv movie with a resolution of 1920x816.
My objective is play the movie on a standalone player.
I used uncropmkv to convert it to 1920x1080 and burned it to bluray.
It played just fine in a standalone bluray player but the horozintal was stretched and everything appeared fat.
I then used Freemake Video Converter to convert it to a dvd. It played just fine on a standalone dvd player but the horozontal was squeezed and everything appeared skinny.
What do I need to do to get it to play on a standalone player with normal horozontal?

I only used uncropmkv to change the resolution to 1920x1080.
When I played the uncropped mkv on the computer there were black bars on each end.

    moontrash.

I am trying to use multiavchd. The program reports a frame reference of 8 and says that it should be 4. How do I change it.
