5.1 ac3 to 6 wav files is annoying me!!!

how do i convert a 5.1 channel ac3 file to 6 mono pcm .wav files (one for each channel) ? i can do it with soft encode, but it is very, very slow.

i tried with azid, but i can't get it make make pcm .wav files of the correct channels. it seems to have its own mind on which channels go to the mono pcm .wav output...

does anyone know the correct way using AzidLameGUI ? or the commands so i can just make a .bat file to do all the channels at once.

remember, i'm interested in 6 mono pcm .wav files (not a single 2 channel wav file or a multichannel pcm .wav file, not even an ac3 .wav file ).

ok, got it solved

i was wondering why i could only get the FL, FR, SL, and SR to come out properly...

turns out that the "5.1" file i was trying to convert had no audio in the centre channel.

and the subwoofer output is controlled by another switch (-l or -L can't remember
