  1. Greetings
I'm new to this site and pretty much a beginner when it comes to video transfer. I bought a HG20 ~2years ago and the hard drive is also full. Is there a simple wway to transfer to a dvd? I was reading some of the HG20 posts and it sounds like more than one type of software is required to do this. My current PC is a Dell w/a pentium4, 2gig of ram and a 500gig hdd.
    thanks
    Gary

Since the drive is not removable, you need to use the USB software supplied by Canon to offload the disk contents to your hard drive.

There is no networkable OS in the camcorder so Windows can't see it without Canon drivers.
