    I have an Akai Blu-ray player BRD-100, purchase ten months ago. The sales pitch was that it was a multi-region player but I have since discovered that it cannot play Region A. The Set-up can switch from NTSC to PAL but these options don't work. How can I fix this so it will play Region A? Any ideas?

    It may be multi-region for DVD but not for BluRay. There are VERY FEW BluRay players that are Zone-Free or can be made Zone-Free.
