Wondering how you guys decide how many discs you encode SVCDs into. For instance, i'm ripping a 2 hour DVD, how many discs would you guys recommend?

You might get away with 2hrs on 2 discs...but that would be the upper limit...depends on the film and personal taste as much as anything. If there was a lot of action in the film I'd look at 3 discs, or reducing the resolution.
