Hi Folks
Newbie here. I've searched everywhere for a solution to the above but I can't find anything. I have a DVD with about 5 episodes on it and I have the subtitles for each episode. I've used SubtitleCreator successfully for years to add subs to a single movie but I just cannot figure out how to add subs to a DVD with multiple episodes?. I can add subs for Episode One ok but I just can't figure out how to add the subs for the other episodes. I've saved the project with subs for Ep.1 then gone back, opened the VOB for Episode 2 and added the subs for that but then the subs for Ep. 2 become the subs for Ep. 1 and the other set of subs disappears altogether?.
Thanks in advance for any help and if this topic has been covered I'm sorry (but I can't find it).
Wayne

If the episodes are different titles, you add them separately as if each was a little movie. If they're all joined into a single title/PGC, you'll have to join the subs into a single large sub. I don't use SubtitleCreator for this, so I'm not sure where you're going wrong. Anyway, Baldrick has a good guide for adding subs to a DVD. Use his method 2:

OMG, actually I have used that thread some time ago to learn how to use SubtitleCreator but I only used the first part. I went through as much as I could (and the posts) but a lot of it went straight over my head
I couldn't see/find how to add subs to multiple episodes though.

Do it as I said; treat each episode as a little movie. Demux it, add in the subs, remux it, and then replace that episode using VobBlanker. Do that for as many episodes as there are. The Vobblanker replace step can be done all at the same time. Replace them all and then process just the once. That'll work unless, as I said, all the episodes are contained within the same title/PGC.
And test each episode after it comes out of Muxman to make sure it has subs and that they're in synch. Don't worry about the colors. Test it using a software DVD player, one such as PowerDVD. -
Hi manono
It worked. I did as you said-ish (I think?) but I used DVDFabdecrypter and split the disc into 5 seperate episodes. I added the subs to each episode then copied/pasted/overwrote the .BUP .IFO and VOB's for each episode back into the original disc one set at a time and it worked fine
Thanks again for your help and advice
