When I compress for Blu-Ray, compressor gives me a .h264 file. Is it actually a MP4 with a different file type?

It's probably just the video stream that you should add in your blu-ray authoring system.

That's exactly what it is. But if I wanted to rip a file like from a Blu-Ray, how would I rip it? I'm not finding this file format in any of my converters.

Supposedly this or this will do the job, but I have no experience with either one.

BluRayRipper Pro rips the raw files. PavTube can do that and converts as well. Both are great.

But, what I'd like to do is the same as demuxing a DVD. For example, in MPEG Streamclip, you can demux and rip the video files as m2v and ac3. What is comparable in the Blu-Ray world? If I want the streams that I can just re-author on my own, what would I use to get those?
